Mountain View Hotel
Description This Whitfield institution reappeared in freshly rejuvenated form after a five-month closure. New head chef Bryan Alley is at the helm, steering the menu with a delightfully modern twist on European fare. Another exciting addition for local foodies is the roster of ongoing, seasonal culinary events, from produce dinners to specialist wine nights. It's no coincidence the hotel has taken a decidedly food- and wine-driven path, with Carlo Pizzini of King Valley's Pizzini wines and his partner, Sally Simpson, making up the new management team. The great selection of local and international drops, designed to match the sumptuous food, certainly show off Pizzini's wine knowledge. A complete refurb throughout has left the place looking infinitely more stylish, with a new bar, restaurant and updated motel-style accommodation. Location/Address/Phone No./Fax No.
